Frequently Asked Questions

How long have you been in the industry?

Wild Thyme was established in 2019 in Central Minnesota. I (Taylor) have worked in the event and floral industry since 2014. I obtained my Floral Design Diploma from Central Lake College in 2016 and my B.S. in Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism Management from the University of Wisconsin – Stout in 2020.

Do you work with Dried Flowers and Greenery?

Yes! We love working with dried flowers. We actually dry some of our own blooms in the studio so we can share them with you all year long!

Do you work along DIY weddings?

We work alongside DIY receptions. However, we prefer to be the trusted florist for your ceremony flowers. If you are interested in a more DIY experience for your ceremony and bridal party flowers we offer a Wedding Floral Workshop. This would take place the day before your wedding with your wedding party for a creative experience. I would gather supplies, buckets of flowers, ribbon and vases and I teach/mentor you on how to make your bouquets for your special day! I then package and deliver these bouquets along with the bouts, corsages, crowns and more the morning of your wedding!

Where are you located and do you travel?

Yes! We LOVE to travel! We're based in central Minnesota but we are usually found travelling around Minnesota. We love to see where your wedding or event takes us!

Do you grow your own flowers?

When in season, we love to grow our own blooms. We aspire to be as sustainable and environmentally responsible as possible when sourcing all of our flowers and greenery. We grow and harvest a small variety of our own flowers in the months of June – September.

In the winter months we responsibly forage balsam boughs, red + white pine, and cedar for our wreaths and garlands.

Do you have decor rentals available?

Yes! We have an ever-growing supply of décor, rentals and flower vessels available exclusively to our clients.

Do you offer workshops?

We will be offering workshops and private classes in the near future – follow us on Instagram @wildthymefloral for more details! We are so excited for you to join us!
